Why you should think about humidity with your indoor plants?
Most indoor house plants originate from humid jungle like environments and as such have a hard time thriving in dry indoor conditions.
It is important to make sure that you are watering the roots the correct amount but equally so leaves need to breathe and absorb moisture as well.
This is particularly important in the summer months when air conditioners dry out there air in the house.
How much to mist your Indoor Plants?
A few sprays once a day will usually be enough to keep the humidity levels up. Another trick is to leave a small shallow plate with stones on it and cover with water. Leave this near the group or single plant and as it evaporates it will increase the local humidity in that area!
